Located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the gardens boast approximately 6500 indigenous plant species.
Yearly members of the Botanical Society take tons of flowers to display at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in the Uk. For the past 30 years, they have received a gold medal for their work. Other popular events at the Gardens are the Summer Outdoor Concerts, the winter concerts, outdoor movie nights and some gorgeous picnic spots. Just under a million people visited the Gardens in 2017.
